    Prairieland “Eyes” Inc.  Bob Kidd, CEO in conjunction with Ottawa Visitors Center, Ottawa Special Events Committee, Erhardt Fishin Sticks, Interstate Batteries, and Ranger Boats are pleased to announce the First Annual Illinois Governors Cup Walleye Tournament.  For the introduction year the field will be limited to the first 120 teams.  Entry fees will $250.00 a team with 80% payback to 15% of the field. First place will pay $10,000.00.  Big fish pot will be $10.00 a day with 100% payback.  Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, place winners.  Plaques will be awarded to the big fish winners.

    The format for this very prestigious tournament will be unique and different from other tournaments.  The field will be divided into 2 flights. Flight 1-60 and flight 61-120 will compete from 7:00a.m. till 3:00p.m. Flight one will be inspected, launch, weighed in at Allen Park and required to fish the Ottawa pool on Saturday, while flight two will launch, be inspected, and weigh in at the Starved Rock Ramp and be restricted to the Starved Rock Pool.  On day two the flights will rotate pools for the competition.
