OSHKOSH, Wis. (July 12, 2004) – Boater Rick Boris of Antioch, Ill.,
caught a two-day total of 10 walleyes weighing 27 pounds, 13 ounces to
claim victory at the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye League Super Tournament presented
by Evinrude held Saturday and Sunday on Lake Winnebago near Oshkosh. Boris
earned $4,950 plus a $750 bonus for the win in the final Wisconsin Division
event of the season.
Boris caught his walleyes on a crawler harness with
a drop weight 50 feet up the line. The RCL League rookie trolled the rig
at about 1.5 mph.
Rounding out the top five boaters were Nicolas Schertz

Niklasch also won the 2004 points title in the Wisconsin

Kevin Glaza of Wisconsin Rapids won the Co-angler
Division with 10 walleyes weighing 28 pounds, 5 ounces. Glaza and his boater
partners used spinner rigs and crawler harnesses in the Winnaconne area.
They caught their walleyes in 5 to 7 feet of water in rocky areas. Glaza,
who earned $2,475 in his second division victory of the season, also claimed
the co-angler points title in the Wisconsin Division.
Rounding out the top five co-anglers were Bob Bach
of Brown Deer (10 walleyes, 27 pounds, 12 ounces, $1,375 plus $200 bonus);
Joshua Blosser of Lodi (10 walleyes, 25 pounds, 13 ounces, $1,237); Daniel

Boaters and co-anglers who finish in the top 25
in final points standings in each RCL Walleye League division will advance
to the $100,000 RCL League Finals Sept. 2-4 on Bays de Noc in Escanaba,
Mich. The winning boater at the finals will receive an Evinrude-or Yamaha-powered
Ranger, Crestliner or Lund boat. Every angler who receives weight credit
