Church
tackle
Didnt invent Planer boards.
They with the help of
Gary Roach just perfected them.
What makes the Mr. "Walleye" Boards from Church Tackle
thebest?
Paying Attention to Details
and special features |
A lightweight clip that's coated with a material NASA uses in the space
shuttle program.
The clip holds the new, ultra thin, slippery braids and fused lines
(like Berkley FireLine) that are popular for trolling. No need to double
wrap
The clip is easy to remove in cold weather. No heavy spring needed
Board can be removed with just one hand while fighting a fish.
A spring-loaded retaining pin holds the line in a grooveat the rear of
the board. Just pull the pin with one hand when removing the board.
Never go back after abour again. If clip comes off board just slides
back to swivel set ahead of the lure
An adjustable keel weight keeps the nose of the board tracking in the water
even when using deep-diving plugs or heavy weights.
Closed-cell foam flotation absorbs no water.
The board's catamaran shape minimizes diving and flying when trolling upwind
or hitting a large wave at higher speeds. If the board does dive, a side
fin on the rear of the board immediately planes the board back to the surface.
Made in USA of non-corrosive materials suitable for saltwater use.
|
Trolling weights are optional, they are not required to use the planer
boards.
ADJUST CLIP: Turn phillips screw clockwise to increase tension,
counter clockwise to decrease tension; make sure clip is adjusted properly.
While at trolling speed let out your lure to desired distance from board.
Attach clip to line.
Pull rear pin, and insert line, and release pin.
Place your board in the water, let out line to desired distance you want
your board to run from the side of your boat.
TO REMOVE BOARD:
Reel in board
Pull rear pin to release line
Open clip and release line.
TO TRIM BOARD:
When using heavy drop weights and crank baits move weight forward.
In heavy waves moveweight backwards.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND: 14# or larger diameter super braids, 8# or larger
diameter monofilament lines.

The space age material that coats the super clips just
wont let go of even the most slippery of braided and fused superlines:
Until you simply squeeze the light metal clip and remove it |
